Pierre Paulin Ribbon Chair hits the market to celebrate the designer's anniversary
You've gotta agree that the 60's and 70's had the funkiest and coolest furniture ever. My dream is to furnish my house with retro looking furniture from those eras. And what better way to pay tribute to the furniture of the 60's era than to bring back the Pierre Paulin Ribbon Chair. The reason for the comeback of this chair is to celebrate Pierre Paulin's 80th birthday, his 60 years as a designer and Paulin's 50 years of working with Artifort. A commemorative book autographed by Pierre Paulin himself is given with every chair. A new feature of this new and improved version lets you pick the upholstery of your liking. But don't worry, the design of the original ribbon chair hasn't been tampered with. It still stands on a metal base and the seat looks like a piece of ribbon.
Unfortunately, the Pierre Paulin Anniversary Ribbon Chair doesn't come cheap. You will have to part with $4,729 for it.
