Guggenheim Restoration rocks necklace

restoration_rocks_necklace.jpg This is not an ordinary piece of jewelry as the history that goes behind it is far more intriguing. The Restoration Rocks necklace designed by California based jeweler Cara Tilker, created for New York’s Soloman R Guggenheim Museum is unique in the true sense of the word as it uses one-of-a-kind fragments of the Frank Lloyd designed building that were destroyed during it’s 2007 restoration. The delicate, two-piece necklace presented in handcrafted acrylic and sterling silver retails for $350.
