Bowers & Wilkins launch Signature Diamond limited edition speaker
Bowers & Wilkins have paired up with Kenneth Grange, one of the leading designers of his generation to produce this sleek cylindrical speaker. Kenneth Grange is renowned for is work which includes the Intercity 125 train, Parker Pens, Kenwood food mixers, the Kodak Instamatic camera and the Wilkinson Sword razor, so from his work you can imagine the precision he must have put in designing the speakers. The Signature Diamond limited edition hi-fi speaker speakers come finished in white or a Japanese-inspired Wakame veneer, with the tweeter pod on top of the enclosure carved from Italian Grigio Carmica or Belgian Black marble lending a unique touch.
Standing one meter tall Matrix braced cylindrical and elliptical form enclosure is designed in such a way that no two speakers will ever be exactly the same stating its exclusivity and Kenneth’s design brilliance. The limited-edition of 1000 individually-numbered Signature Diamond speaker sets will be available through Bowers & Wilkins stockists worldwide from July 2007, retailing at £11,000.
